Scheduling AN Appointment

Feel free to reach out via phone, email, or the contact form to make an appointment. Before the first visit I offer a free 10-minute phone consultation if you would like to see if we will be a good fit for our work together.

Once you are scheduled for your first visit, I will send you a link to the Client Portal so you can easily complete electronic paperwork. Completing this paperwork prior to our first meeting will allow us to have more time to talk.

First Visit

The goal of our first meeting is to learn about your goals for therapy, get to know you as a whole person, and put together an initial treatment plan.

Please complete registration paperwork through the Client Portal (check your email for login information).

We suggest you arrive 5 minutes early for your first session to find your way from parking to the building.

What exactly is therapy?

Movies and TV really give therapy a bad look. Therapy is a place where you can:

  • have a nonjudgmental listener help you make sense of painful thoughts and feelings

  • openly discuss unhelpful patterns

  • learn new, helpful ways of responding to difficult thoughts, feelings, and urges

  • get ideas for practicing new ways of living in between sessions
